Exterior Venue Decorations

Place huge vases on either side of the entrance door and fill them with hydrangeas, French tulips, and orchids of different heights. It is sure to create an interesting visual effect to your white themed wedding. You could even place a huge wooden casket on one corner and fill it with moss, ferns, floating candles and orchids. It sure would be an eclectic mix but a pretty one that will catch everyone’s eyes. If it is a night party then you could use a long white luminescent column on either side of the door. Cover it with elastic fabric to create a more dazzling effect.

Add more light to the occasion by placing black lanterns or even lampposts with a softly glowing yellow bulb on either side of the pathway. You could also make a door hanging out of a wreath made of white satin or ribbon with silver balls added to it. Using white LED lighted trees will also make your pathway look both romantic and also lend it a forest like charm. Decorate the trees with oversized white helium balloons tied with red and white bows.

Interior Venue Decorations

Build a white dance floor and project a soft light on it. There is nothing like it if you can get the color of the light to keep changing after every half an hour. Add some silver glittering balls from the ceiling and maybe even drape pearly white lace from erected columns on the floor corners of the dance floor. Why not get some smoke spray too? While we are at candles, you may also get white wedding dress shaped scented candles specially designed and place them in different parts of the room.

Don’t forget to hang your beaded or sparkling crystal chandeliers from the ceiling. You may also opt for white paper lanterns to give your venue a dreamy and sensuous look. Instead, if you are looking for some fun, then hang fluffy pom-poms from the ceilings! There is nothing like it if you can have a blue colored ceiling. Then the rosettes are sure to look like clouds floating across a blue sky.

Table Decorations

Use a white on white decoration for the tables. On an ivory white satin table cloth place a transparent crystal vase and fill it with flowers like white roses, lilies of the valley, orchids, and gardenias. You could even fill ceramic topiaries with bouquets of light pink roses and baby’s breath. Small transparent vases filled with zinnias, Queen Anne’s lace and a few ferns also look nice if you have decided to set up small sized tables. If it’s a winter wedding then try using pine cones and evergreen sprigs amidst glowing white candles.

Sure to give your venue a warm and cosy look. You could also use small stainless steel buckets as your centertable idea and fill it with white dahlias and chrysanthemums. To add some color you may also use gold tinted goblets and card holders on the tables as well. You may also place gold embroidered napkins with the white chine crockery on the tables.

If you are having a white themed wedding at the beach, then contrast your white table cloth by placing a turquoise or a stark cobalt blue vase on the center and decorate it with the dainty baby’s breath and white orchids. Make small nests out of fern vines and fill them with peonies, tulips or any other flower of your choice.

Food Counter Decorations

Decorate the food counters with tall candle holders filled with a huge bunch of baby’s breath to create a dramatic effect. You could also fill milk jugs with flowers like Japanese anemones and peonies and contrast their white color by adding twigs leaves etc.

If you are on a tight budget then just purchase some glass jars from the market and fill them with creamy white dried ammobiums and place them in between each food tray/platter. You could also make tissue-paper flowers with silver centers and arrange them in long silver painted wooden vases.
