Bridal shower means a fun time – away from any sort of stress and anxiety. Its good to meticulously plan the shower and have everything in order. But do throw in some fun games that will add gaiety to the occasion. Here are some fun activities that would help you out.

How to Plan a Bridal Shower

Treasure Hunt

As the guests come in ask them to give you something that they are either carrying or wearing that they associate themselves most with. Once you have collected them all put them on the tray and number them. Make chits of paper with one person’s name written on each chit.

Planning A Bridal Shower

Keep them in a bowl. In another bowl keep chits with one number on each (associated with the things on the tray). Now ask the bride to be to pick up a chit (say X). Now X picks up a number from the number bowl. She then has to say who that things belongs to. If she guesses correctly then she gets a goodie bag from the bride to be.

What is on Your Mind?

Let the bride to be ask a question. For example “what do you associate with a honeymoon?” Everyone else has to write as many things that they associate with this within a stipulated time frame. Once the time is up each reads out the answers and common once gets cancelled. In the end the person who has the maximum number of uncalled (as in unique0 answers wins a hamper.

How well Do You fit in?

By draw of lots divide the entire congregation into small groups. Now give them around five the ten minutes to ask each other questions and get to know one another. Once the time is up the bride selects a person from group 1, say and asks, say Y a question about Z. If she can answer correctly then she stays in the group else she gets out of it. This goes on till one person is left in each group. Each of these people gets a winner’s git.

Keep numerous foods in small bowls and cover them up with a cover. Now each guest is asked to taste these bowls and write their answers (as to what food it is) on a piece of paper. The one with the maximum correct answers wins. You could spruce it up even more by adding drinks to this too and asking them to identify what ingredients are there in the drink!

Take out prints of the bride to be in different points of her life. Now cut each picture into two to three pieces. Hand over a bunch of these to each guest and ask them to fit them correctly together. The one who does it quickest wins the game.

Gifts

Hand over a piece of paper to each guest and ask them to write the gifts they think the bride to be would be getting. Once she starts opening her gifts they keep cancelling out the ones that match. The one whose list has maximum matches gets a gift.
