Planning a kid’s party can be quite a challenge – decoration, games, gifts etc. However the greatest challenge is with respect to food. Kids can be quite fussy when it comes to food. So what is it that they life? Here are a few ideas from me. Hope it will help you when you are planning your kid’s birthday. They are easy to make and the kids are sure to love them too.

Food Ideas For Kid’s Party

Ice Cream Shakes

Ice Cream Shakes

Add some milk to ice cream and make a chilled milkshake out of it. Add bits of fruit or marshmallows on top. Make different flavored one. Kids tend to love strawberry, chocolate and butterscotch

Chicken Nachos

Shred or mince the chicken and prepare it. Don’t make it to spicy. Put it on top of nachos and serve with tomato sauce

Grilled Vegetables and Cheesy Dip

Slice different vegetables into small pieces and then grill them with some spices. Serve it with the cheesy dip (add cheese to boiled milk and stir till it turns thick)

Fruit Balls with Chocolate Sauce

Scoop out small balls of fruits. Watermelons, peaches, apples, mangoes work bets here. Add a toothpick to each of the fruit balls. Serve with the chocolate sauce (add grated chocolate and sugar to boiling milk and stir till its thick)

Get chicken or pork sausages and cut them into pieces. Put them into sliced bread rolls and serve with tomato or cheese sauce.

Tiny Ice Cream Cakes

Bake a vanilla cake. Once done slice it horizontally into three. Spread different flavored ice creams on each layer and then freeze it. While serving cut them into tiny pieces which the kids can handle.

Mini Sandwiches

Make sandwiches of chicken and cucumber, tomato and eggs, mashed potato and cheese, Ham and minced corn, peanut butter. Cut them into small pieces when serving.

Vegetable Cutlets

Blend vegetables of your choice after boiling them in salt water. Add bread and some biscuit crumbs to it. Make them into tiny balls and deep fry till gold brown. Serve with a mint sauce.

Make cup cakes of different flavors – chocolate, vanilla, almond and walnut, fudge etc. Top them with different flavors or nuts or sprinkles or gems.

Fruity Cookies

Mix almost caramelized sugar and butter with fruits like apples. Add grated chocolate f you please. Stir for a while and put into butter baking tin. Leave it to cool after baking. Cut into tiny pieces while serving. Serve with ice cream if you wish to.

Squeezed Popcorn

When the corn starts popping take it out of the microwave and add butter to it. Take smalls dollops of it and squeeze into round balls. Let them stand till its cold. Serve.

Fruity Yogurt Smoothie

Mix any fruit of your choice with yogurt and some vanilla ice cream and blend. Serve chilled to the kids.

Chocolate Milk

Stir milk with grated chocolate till it has mixed well. Let it cool a little and then serve to the kids with marshmallows or ice cream floating on top
