Color it any shade of purple you like. Giving your invites a box of purple frosted cupcakes or toffees is a great idea as well.
If it’s a fun theme that you have planned, then buy small purple teddies and place the invitation in their hands. How about a basketful of purple grapes with the invitation stuck to the basket handle? Sound good, right?
Decoration
Make a separate seating arrangement for the bride and the groom. The wall behind them could be draped with a heavy deep purple satin curtain. This would add a sense of royalty to the occasion. Light the venue with purple tinted lights. You could also use tiny fairy lights on the trees outside the venue if it’s a late evening or night party that you are having.
Use crystal glasses with a tinge of purple in it on the tables. Tie the napkins with a purple ribbon. Similar colored ribbons could also be tied around the chairs too. Make sure the rest of the crockery and cutlery all have some purple color on it. Purple flower designs would look quite appropriate with the occasion.

Decorate the center of the table with a long straight vase with purple orchids floating inside it. Cover the top and put a lavender scented candle on it. You could also place a bouquet of lilacs or pansies and white baby’s breath on the center of the table. Collect pebbles of different shapes.
Paint them with different hues of purple and mauve and then place them in a silver plate to form the centerpiece decoration. Take small crystal bowls and fill them with purple colored marbles.
