Ideas For An Easter Centerpieces
The celebration that honours new life and fresh starts in life, brings a lot of hope and happiness to people’s lives. And it is this feeling that drives many to host Easter parties at home. Easter is a special occasion which celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ and this is generally enjoyed with family dinners or lunches.
If you are hosting an Easter party, it becomes essential to decorate every part of your house. And the party tables also need to take up the festive fervour. The best way to do so would be with fine Easter centerpieces. These can be easily made at home and the entire family can join in the activities leading to the party.
Ideas For An Easter Centerpieces
Have a look at the following ideas for an Easter centerpiece and make your tables attractive and eye-catching.
The Floral Centerpiece
One of the most elegant centerpieces can be made with flower. Since Easter is celebrated during spring, there is an abundance of fresh flower during this time of the year. Choose from any of the seasonal flowers and make a fine bouquet with it. Different types of fragrant flowers like lilies, tulips or even roses can be used for the centerpiece.
To make your centerpiece unique, concentrate on decorating the vases. You can either modify the readymade vases or make your own vase with things like empty tin cans, flower tubs or plastic containers found at home.
Paint or cover the vases with decorative paper. Use lively colours like yellow, green, pink, purple, orange and other pastel shades. Decorate it with glitters, sequins, ribbons or any other craft material that makes your vase attractive. Apart from this, you can also try out another floral centerpiece that consists of floating flowers and votive candles.
Take a medium sized glass bowl and fill it with water. Cut off the stems of flowers and let them float on the water. Place some floating votive candles over it and turn it into a fascinating centerpiece for your Easter dinner table.
The ingredient that is almost synonymous with Easter celebrations are the eggs. So, you must include these in your centerpiece. A simple way of making an egg centerpiece consists of stacking coloured eggs inside a transparent glass jar. For this, you have to either use plastic eggs or real, hard boiled eggs that have been dyed with various colours.
Stack up one above the other in a long jar and keep it at the centre of each table. Keep some decorative streamers and glitters at the bottom of the jar and your egg centerpiece would be ready in minutes. Another great idea would be to place some egg baskets as centerpieces. These are again extremely common during this occasion and if you are making some for the kids, try making some extra pieces. These can be placed at the tables as centerpieces.
Emulating the spirit of spring, a centerpiece can be assembled in a rectangular glass container.

Put some pebbles at the bottom of the transparent container and top it with wheat grass or real grass, whichever is available. Keep some fresh flowers and add silk butterflies to create an awesome terrain that reminds you of the season.
