Welcome Scary Ghosts

These can be made with white helium filled balloons. Just draw the face of your ghost and tie the balloon’s thread to a tree or the yard fence.

Let the ghosts float around your yard or lawn and scare the guests. Ghosts can also be made with some tattered black or white clothing that has been stuffed with old newspaper. Attach a ghost mask to it and anchor the ghost around the gateway or near the trees. You can also hang it from a tree branch, making it look exactly like a scary monster.

Cobwebs, Spiders And Bats

In order to create a spooky ambience, put up a few cobwebs, spiders and bats around the garden. Thin strands of polyester or thread can be haphazardly arranged around the porch, yard, lawn or front doors of your home for creating the cobwebs. Make some spooky spiders with egg cartons and paint them black with white gleaming eyes. Attach a few straws to its sides for making the spider’s legs. Bats can also be made with simple craft items and hung from trees, fences and doors.

Spooky Luminaries

The lighting used for Halloween is very important for creating the perfect atmosphere of a Halloween party. Spooky luminaries can be made with pumpkins, gourds or paper bags. Make Jack’O Lanterns with pumpkins and gourds by carving out scary faces. Insert a small light or candles and use it for lighting up the pathway. Alternatively, you can also use white paper bags for making spooky luminaries. Half fill the bags with sand and insert a small candle for making some amazing lighting for your Halloween party.

Make A Graveyard

Graveyards with tombstones are best suited for outdoor Halloween decorations. Make some gravestones with cardboard and paint them black or grey. Attach a wire through the tombstones for keeping them erect. Write names of people over the tombstones, marking each grave with names of vampires and monsters like Dracula, Wolfman or others.
