Halloween is justa few weeks away and if you’ve decided to host a Halloween party on the scariest night of the year remember to include some fun-filled games. I have thought of some wonderfully scary games with equally quirky names that will make your guests squeal and scream with delight!

Unique Ideas for Halloween Game

Sick Ghoul’s Vomit

You Will Need

Any number of players, 1 big bowl of jelly, plastic creepy crawlies (spider, lizards, cockroaches, worms etc), and fruits like grapes or cherries and candies like jellybeans, marshmallows or jelly toffees. You can actually include anything you want to.

How To Play

In a big bowl or a bucket pour the jelly and mix with a bit of water to make it gooey and runny. Chuck in all the plastic things, fruits and candies and mash up well. Tell the guest that you have collected a ghoul’s vomit and all the players who can guess correctly what he ate will get some goodies to take away.

Blind fold each player in turn and ask him/her to dip his/her hands and pick up anything they can and guess what it was! You can ask them to taste the things they pick out and you’ll be delighted to see the reactions of most players. Every correct guesser gets a handful of candies!

Bandage Your Mummy

You Will Need

any number of players, rolls of toilet paper (2 rolls per team if kids and 4-5 if adults)

How To Play

Divide the players into teams and ask each team to choose their “mummy”. Now, give them their toilet paper rolls and ask them to wrap their mummy when you say “GO”. The first team to finish wrapping an almost perfect mummy wins the game.

Wail And Guess

You Will Need

Any number of players, stereo playing ghostly music

How To Play

Make the players stand to form a circle. Blindfold each player in turns and lead him to the center of the circle and turn him/her several times so that he/she loses sense of direction. Now play the ghostly music during which the blind-folded player walks in the circle and touches one of the other players’. When a player is touched he/she has to make a noise like a ghostly wail or any scary noise. The blindfolded player has to guess the real name of the player. Correct guesses win sugar treats!

Halloween Fashion Show

You Will Need

An empty room with some spot lighting preparation and music.

How To Play

This is just like any normal costume contest. Ask your guests to deck up for Halloween in the scariest ways they probably can. Each guest gets a turn to walk down the room and show off their costumes, some may even make noises or walk scarily. As they walk, focus the light on them and play eerie music. The best costume with a really scary attitude shall win!

Witch’s Lost Cauldron

You Will Need

A black jar or bucket (to resemble a witch’s cauldron), whole pack of jelly beans or other candy treats.

How To Play

This is a simple guessing game. Fill your “cauldron” with all the sugar treats. Each guest has to guess the number of candies in the “cauldron”. The correct guesser or the one nearest to the correct number will get to take home the witch’s lost cauldron with all the goodies inside.
