Ingredients that you need are 2 large broccoli with stems peeled, 2 tablespoons butter, and 3 tablespoons olive oil, 1 onion, chopped, 1 cup vegetable broth, 4 cups water, 1 cup cream, Salt to taste, Pepper. Chop the broccoli.

Heat butter and olive oil in a pot. Add onion and cook until soft. Add broccoli along with broth and water and bring to a boil. Cover and cook on low flame until tender. Remove from fire and let it cool. Puree the broccoli and mixture in a blender until smooth. Transfer into a saucepan and heat it by adding milk and cream. Add salt and pepper. Serve hot!

Roast Turkey With Pear And Onion

A traditional Thanksgiving meal can never be complete without this turkey recipe that combines pear and onion as its important ingredients. A wholesome meal in itself, try out this recipe for its simplicity and richness. Ingredients that are required are 1 fresh turkey, Salt to taste, Pepper, ¾ teaspoon dried thyme, 2 red onions, cut into wedges, 3 ripe pears, cored and quartered, 1 tablespoon, melted butter, 1 cup water.

Roast Turkey With Pear And Onion

Preheat oven to 325 F. Place turkey with breast side up on a rack in a large roasting pan. Rub its outside with salt, pepper and thyme. Arrange onions in pan around turkey. Cover with foil and roast for 2 hours. In a bowl toss pears with butter, pepper and thyme. Remove foil from the turkey.

Arrange the pears around the turkey. Roast the uncovered turkey for 45 minutes. When done, remove from pan and place it on a platter with onions and pears. Carve the turkey and serve!

Apple Shallot Roasted Turkey

Ingredients that are needed are 10 pound turkey, 2 tablespoons, canola oil, 2 tablespoons chopped parsley, 2 tablespoons, chopped sage, 1 tablespoon chopped thyme, 1 teaspoon kosher salt, 1 teaspoon ground pepper, 1 pound shallots, peeled and halved, 1 tart green apple, quartered, 3 cups water. Preheat oven to 375 F.

Apple Shallot Roasted Turkey

Place turkey breast side up on a rack in a roasting pan. Mix oil, parsley, thyme, sage, pepper and salt in a bowl. Rub the herb mixture over the turkey and under the skin. Place herb sprigs, 5 shallot halves and apple in cavity. Add 3 cups water to the pan. Roast turkey until golden brown in an oven. Roast it thoroughly in the oven. Remove and serve hot!

Ingredients needed are Pie crust, 8 cups sliced baking apples, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, ½ cup castor sugar, ½ cup flour, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg, 2 tablespoons butter, 1 egg yolk, 1 teaspoon milk.

Toss apples and lemon juice in a bowl. Combine sugars, cinnamon, flour and nutmeg well to coat. Fill pastry crusts with apple mixture. Brush up butter. Place second crust on top of filling and seal edges. Beat egg yolk and milk in a bowl. Brush it over top crust. Bake the pies at 425 F for 15 minutes.
