Easy Christmas Craft Ideas For Preschool Children
Christmas is a wonderful time for the entire family and especially the children in the house. With the beautiful Christmas carols and the Christmas tree and all the gifts from Santa, all kids are mostly super excited and overjoyed! When you have kids at home, you must be creative and ensure that they have a positive outlet to all that energy.
For that children can engage themselves in some Christmas crafts. Preschool children between the ages of 2 to 5 may not be able to do very complex crafts but with a little help from you they can make lovely crafts that will make you proud! Here are a few ideas for Christmas crafts that are meant for preschool kids.
Easy Christmas Craft Ideas For Preschool Children
Paper Stocking for Christmas
For making a paper stocking you will need a sheet of brown paper or even a brown grocery bag will do as well. A pair of scissors and crayons, glitters and other embellishments of your choice is what you will need as well. First draw a pair of stockings of equal sizes on the brown bags and cut them out. Now let your child stick them together with glue only around the sides. Now let them color the stocking according to their heart’s desire. They can stick glitters, images of Christmas tree or even paste a Santa sticker over it as they would wish.
Cotton Bearded Santa Claus
With his bushy snow white beard Santa Claus is the epitome of Christmas for all children. Simply cut a printout of a Santa face and stick it on to some hard cardboard.

Now give your children some cotton and glue and let them stick the fluffy cotton onto the beard and moustache of Santa Claus. It will definitely find a place of pride in your living room.

Connect- The- Dots Christmas tree
Little children love to connect dots and make pretty images. So it is the best way to make them draw a beautiful Christmas tree. On a blank card trace out the dots for them and let them connect the dots themselves. Supervise them if they are too small.
When they complete tracing out the Christmas tree, you can give them colorful crayons to color the tree with their desired colors. These cards can be wonderful greetings cards for their grandparents and preschool friends as well. You can also make a Christmas star image instead of a tree, or experiment with other Christmas images as well.
Cardboard Snowman
A snowman can be incredibly simple to make and fun for children too! Simply draw three circles on a cardboard. Each of the circles should be smaller than the previous one. Now cut out the three circles and let your kid paste these one beneath the other. The smallest one will be the head, the second one the upper body and the largest circle will be the legs.
With a sketch pen assist your child to draw a pair of eyes and a big smile to make the snowman look cheerful and happy. To make the snowman look real you can hand them some cotton and glue so that the texture of snow can be visible. You can stick the snowman cutout on a card or simply place it in your mantelpiece for display this holiday season.
