These are some of the most easy to make costumes. You can take colored broadcloth and cut a round hole so that you can stick your head through it while the length of the cloth falls around. Wrap some golden satin cloth around your waist; make a golden crown with cardboard and golden paper.

Make a cloak and hold it down from your head with the crown and there you are in the dress of a wise man. Paint a covered pot with golden paint and stick glitters and beads for a vase frankincense and myrrh or carry a bag of gold coins made out of cardboard and golden paper. For making a shepherd’s dress you need striped broad cloth and a rope to tie it at your waist. Take a long staff to complete the look.

Dressing up as Christmas gift boxes or stockings, Christmas trees or even as snow flakes are great for Christmas parties. However, these ideas are more popular with the children than adults.
