Christmas is that festival of the year when every member of the family is ecstatic and extremely enthusiastic. The youngest members of the family are the most excited for the gifts, food and fun activities waiting for them round the corner.
The much awaited holiday season is here and the kids are overjoyed and tremendously thrilled at the thought of the games and the gifts there-after in the making. It is always a pleasure to see kids giving you those innocent and jubilant smiles. To have this Christmas experience, we bring to you some Cute Christmas games for kids to play delightfully.
Unique Cute Christmas Games For Kids
Passing The Stocking
Here’s the all-time kids’ favorite game passing the parcel with a twist. Fill up a Christmas stocking with all familiar Christmas related items like a candy cane, a sleigh, Santa mask, etc. Then ask the kids to sit in a circle and pass this stocking along the way.
Play some music and whenever the music stops, whichever kid has the stocking with him, has to feel it and guess any one thing inside it. If the kid guesses it right, he gets to keep it and remain in the game. On the other hand, if a kid is unable to guess any item correctly, is out of the game. This game will keep the kids glued as they would get to keep as many items as they can guess.
Kids always love the guessing game as they are themselves so curious in life. A Christmas Pictionary will help fulfill their curiosity. Divide all kids present into two teams. Have different Christmas thing names written on chits and put in a bowl. A kid from every team has to come forward, pick up a chit and draw whichever thing is mentioned on the chit in two minutes.
Then the respective kid’s teams get one minute to guess the item. The team which guesses it first wins and you can keep playing this game till the kids are having fun. The team with the maximum number of guesses wins the Christmas hamper.
Christmas Candy Chase
If kids are in attendance, you need to have at least one race to see the cute infants running around. Form two teams and ask them to stand in two separate vertical lines, making one kid stand behind the other. Arrange for a bag full of candy canes and place them in two big bowls on two separate tables. The kids have to use a spoon to pick up some candy canes from the bowl and put them in a Santa bag positioned at a distance.
Each kid from the line does this activity but in a relay manner. Only once a kid is back, can the second kid go. Both the teams get to finish the activity and the team which is able to collect the maximum candy canes in the Santa bag is announced the winner. This game is sure to remind you of the lemon and spoon race you took part in as a kid.
Christmas Craft Contest
In case you are holding a Christmas party in school and want the kids to have some educative fun, you can have a Christmas Craft Contest. You can buy various decorative and craft materials for kids and arrange them on each desk of your classroom. Then you can ask every kid to use their craft techniques and make one thing they can think of which is linked to Christmas. The kid with the best efforts and output wins the contest with two runners up gifts declared too.
