Celebrating fathers is a beautiful way of honoring your father for all that he does for you, selflessly. There are no special custom or ritual for it. 1. Smoky Pork Calzones
Stir fry pulled pork meat with seasoning to make calzone fillings. Flatten a ball of calzone dough in round shape. Put some pork filling along with mozzarella on one side of the round and fold the other side, over the filling. Now, seal the edges and brush over it with olive oil. Bake the calzone in an oven, until golden brown.
2. Barbecued Chicken Pizzas
Cut chicken into small pieces, add salt and pepper as seasonings and marinate in barbeque sauce. Put it in a baking tray, until it is thoroughly cooked. Put your yeast fermented pizza dough in a warm place and allow it to rise. Hand toss the dough or flatten it with a rolling pin to make a base. Now, spread some barbeque sauce over this base and top it with the barbeque chicken pieces, onion slices, gouda and mozzarella.
3. Spicy Chicken Breasts with Pepper Peach Relish
You will need to make a glaze. For this, takes some peach preserves, lemon and chilly flakes and add them together. For making the relish, take peeled and finely chopped peaches, some chopped red pepper and green pepper, green onion, a few mint leaves and a little glaze.. Mix all the ingredients together to form a relish. Now take a few chicken breasts and marinate them in cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves along with salt. Now grill the marinated chicken pieces, occasionally basting them with the glaze, you have prepared. Serve hot with the relish.
4.Crispy Grilled Chicken Thighs
Pat some bone-in chicken thighs with a cloth or paper. Marinate the chicken with some kosher salt and black pepper for 8 to 10 hours. Grill all sides evenly till the meat is thoroughly cooked and becomes golden brown. Make sure that the chicken is tender inside and crisp from outside.
5. Whiskey Glazed Flat Iron Steaks And Grilled Potatoes
Take a mixing bowl and mix together 1/2 cup the whiskey, salt and pepper to taste, 1 spoon brown sugar, 2 tablespoons oil and a few cloves of garlic paste. Add the 4 flat iron steaks to the mixture and marinate it for half an hour. Take out the streaks from the marinade and wipe off with a paper towel. Take the remaining marinade and allow it to reduce in medium flame, so that it can be used as a glaze while grilling. Now grill the streaks and keep brushing it with the glaze.
6. Lemon-Oregano Chicken Breast
Prepare a marinade using the zest and juice of 2 lemons, fresh garlic paste, dried oregano, kosher salt and crushed black pepper. Take 5 to 6 boneless and skinless chicken breasts and coat the marinade over them. Allow the chicken to marinate for 2 to 3 hours. Now grill thoroughly. Your tender, delicious and succulent Lemon-Oregano Chicken are ready!
7. Spinach And Feta Stuffed Chicken Breasts
For Spinach and Feta Stuffed Chicken Breasts, make a filling using some spinach, fried chopped onions, feta cheese, olive oil, salt to taste, crushed black pepper and some dill leaves, finely chopped. Take 4 pieces of skinless and boneless chicken breasts. Now make a flat slit through each chicken breast, so that you can stuff the filling in the form of a sandwich. When the pockets are ready, stuff each pocket with the mixture and close then with toothpicks. Sprinkle some salt and pepper on both the sides. Shallow fry them in a skillet, starting from medium to low flame, flipping the sides a few times.
8. Chicken Lasagna
Heat some butter and olive oil together in a frying pan, over medium heat. Add a chopped onion and stir fry until the onion becomes transparent, but not golden. Stir in 7 to 8 table spoons of cream of chicken soup and a few teaspoons Alfredo sauce, some diced pimiento, sliced mushrooms, some dried basil and dry white wine . Keep away 1 cup sauce for further use.
Wash 25 to 20 spinach leaves and pat them dry with paper towels. Take the spinach leaves in a large bowl and add in some cottage cheese, 9 lasagna noodles, chopped boiled chicken and a beaten egg. In a heated and greased baking dish place 3 lasagna noodles in a row to form a single sheet. Spread half of the spinach and other mixture over the noodles. Sprinkle lots of cheese(mixture of parmesan, cheddar and ricotta). Place3 more lasagna sheets over it and repeat the process. When all the 9 noodles have been arranges, top it with the sauce kept apart. Keep it chilled for a day and then bake it at 350° for about 40 minutes. Top it with a cup of cheddar cheese and put it again in the oven till the cheese melts.
